Crown completes the balance of decorative trims at the wall to ceiling and can set the tone of a room. Few other finishing trim details offer the visual impact for your home like crown moulding.
Crown moulding build up using multiple design elements
Crown molding sits on an angle with compound miter joints that are important to get correct so over time there is no seperation with seasonal changes. Typically the install is a primed crown, most painters prefer to do the final finishing in place after the nails are filled and the edges caulked.
Window casings with jamb extensions stools and aprons, baseboard, coffered ceilings and custom millwork. Door casing and installations retrofit with matching hinge and custom jamb widths or pre-hung.

From classical historic craftsman style restoration to contemporay trim moulding renovations. Built-down coffered and box beam ceilings. Trims applied to drywall return windows or wood jamb extensions for replacements. Full range of door installations from new to upgrades. Custom millwork.
Wainscot or wainscoat is the paneling that is typically on a lower portion of a wall. From historic to modern designs wainscotting adds a classical elegance to your home.
Wainscot panels with custom made chair rail trims and base
There are a few different types of wainscot. The inset panel and applied trim styles require a careful layout of the room with the panels made to equalize the widths. The flat panel wainscot can be individual boards or a ply that mimics that look and both use a chair rail and base.
